The Bernetti Trophy is considered the test event before the Barcolana regatta. Now in edition 53 sees more than 150 crews competing on the race course of nearly 15 miles between Trieste and Sistiana. The departure (9:30) is performed using two separate boats groups, with twenty minutes difference between them (9:50).
The crews have the opportunity to fine-tune the boat, train the maneuvers and get well motivated for the Barcolana the following Sunday
